DR. ERIN

Erin C. Fraundorf, D.M.D., M.S.D.

Dr. Erin is the Artist Behind the Smiles and Founder of BOCA Orthodontic + Whitening Studio– where smile care is self care. Leading with a passion for aesthetics, quality and demanding the best at every turn for her patients, Dr. Erin’s innovative methods have transformed the way orthodontics and whitening is done. Graduating first in her class in both dental school and orthodontic residency at St Louis University, she has an exceptional clinical foundation but she believes that extraordinary orthodontic care extends far beyond scholastic achievements.

She insists on the best for her patients and will do everything it takes to provide that.

With her unique and extensive background in art, Dr. Erin looks to the beauty in every smile, exploring various tools and techniques to create gorgeous, functional smiles.

Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, extreme technical skill and an elevated aesthetic eye.

Dr. Erin began her road to orthodontics in her native state of Wisconsin where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, biochemistry and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Here, she also obtained a minor in art which has translated significantly into her practice of orthodontics. Following college, Dr. Fraundorf earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville where she graduated valedictorian of her class. She then returned to the midwest to continue her education at Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education. She completed a 30 month residency of specialized training in orthodontics and received a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry and Orthodontics, where she again graduated valedictorian. Dr. Erin had the unique opportunity to complete a fellowship with Washington University’s Craniofacial Cleft Lip and Palate team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She was also actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club Dental Clinic where she provided no-cost dental care to local community members. During her residency, she fell in love with STL and never left. Since then, Dr. Erin’s experience creating smiles in St Louis has left her wanting more for her patients-- more quality doctor time, more customization, more experience-based care. That desire is what sparked her creation-- BOCA.
While Dr. Erin is classically trained as a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, her treatment is modern and she thinks outside the norm to design smiles and experiences customized to each individual. She takes a curious, open-minded approach to the work she does— constantly embracing innovation and pushing boundaries. She works tirelessly with each patient to create a unique treatment plan that best fits individual lifestyles and desires. She is obsessed with details and will go the extra mile to help you perfect your smile. With her unique patient-centric, aesthetic-forward mantra, she created BOCA to revolutionize the orthodontic and whitening experience.
Dr. Erin’s credentials and expertise have been acknowledged by Align Technology as she was selected to be a Speaker for Invisalign.
Dr. Erin is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association and the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation. She is also proud to serve on the Greater St Louis Dental Society New Dentist Committee and as a Representative for the Missouri Dental Association.
Based on her scholastic achievements, she has also been inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi All-University Honor Society and Delphi Society.
When Dr. Erin is out of her white coat, she can be found enjoying time with family and friends, practicing yoga, doing barre classes, spending time outdoors, walking with her dogs, Finn and Duff (you may see them around the office from time to time), trying new restaurants and hanging out at local farmers' markets.

Meet our Chief Happiness Officer

FINNEGAN

Because who better to put a smile on your face than this little guy? Meet our Chief Happiness Officer, Finnegan. He is a Bichon Frise who lives for meeting new people, going on walks and playing fetch. Finn loves being a part of the BOCA squad. You may see him from time to time in the studio running around and greeting guests with a wagging tail and lots of kisses.

Welcome to BOCA. You made it to our studio for your Smile Consultation appointment! Check in with our BOCA Concierge and enjoy a beverage while you relax in our resort-inspired Lounge. You likely won’t wait long, if at all, but you may not want to leave.

Imaging

Our Concierge Assistant will escort you from the Lounge into our Imaging Studio to obtain photographs and radiographs. Your imaging is a tool for Dr. Erin to diagnose and educate. These images also allow us to monitor progress through treatment.

03.

Design

Dr. Erin will review your imaging, check out your smile and chat one-on-one to get to know you and your smile goals. Once she understands your desires and lifestyle, she will design and present possible customized treatment options available to you.

Questions

We absolutely love questions. It's very important that you ask and we listen to your concerns and questions. It will make you feel more comfortable and confident in the process. And it will help us get to know you, your smile and your desires better!

Vibe

Wherever you choose to go, feel out the vibe of the squad and the space. Similar to a first date, your consultation will allow you to see if you want to continue the relationship. We are here to ensure you have the best smile journey possible!

We accept some insurances and are always explicitly transparent about our pricing because no one likes surprise fees.

Our Signature Complimentary Concierge In-Studio Financing is available for comprehensive orthodontic treatments.
