Dr. Erin began her road to orthodontics in her native state of Wisconsin where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, biochemistry and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.  Here, she also obtained a minor in art which has translated significantly into her practice of orthodontics.  Following college, Dr. Fraundorf earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville where she graduated valedictorian of her class.  She then returned to the midwest to continue her education at Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education.  She completed a 30 month residency of specialized training in orthodontics and received a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry and Orthodontics, where she again graduated valedictorian.  Dr. Erin had the unique opportunity to complete a fellowship with Washington University’s Craniofacial Cleft Lip and Palate team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  She was also actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club Dental Clinic where she provided no-cost dental care to local community members.  During her residency, she fell in love with STL and never left.  Since then, Dr. Erin’s experience creating smiles in St Louis has left her wanting more for her patients-- more quality doctor time, more customization, more experience-based care.  That desire is what sparked her creation-- BOCA.

While Dr. Erin is classically trained as a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, her treatment is modern and she thinks outside the norm to design smiles and experiences customized to each individual. She takes a curious, open-minded approach to the work she does— constantly embracing innovation and pushing boundaries. She works tirelessly with each patient to create a unique treatment plan that best fits individual lifestyles and desires.  She is obsessed with details and will go the extra mile to help you perfect your smile.  With her unique patient-centric, aesthetic-forward mantra, she created BOCA to revolutionize the orthodontic and whitening experience.

Dr. Erin’s credentials and expertise have been acknowledged by Align Technology as she was selected to be a Speaker for Invisalign.

Dr. Erin is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association and the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation.  She is also proud to serve on the Greater St Louis Dental Society New Dentist Committee and as a Representative for the Missouri Dental Association.

Based on her scholastic achievements, she has also been inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi All-University Honor Society and Delphi Society.

When Dr. Erin is out of her white coat, she can be found enjoying time with family and friends, practicing yoga, doing barre classes, spending time outdoors, walking with her dogs, Finn and Duff (you may see them around the office from time to time), trying new restaurants and hanging out at local farmers' markets.
